Bolton Surgical offer a  comprehensive  and fully flexible repair and maintenance service. 

Working over many years with both NHS and Private Sector Hospitals, we have developed the service to meet the differing and demanding needs of todays Decontamination Units and Departments of Surgery.

The service is also able to aid budget management by providing ongoing statistics tailored to your requirements.

Our Repair Service covers not only standard surgical instruments but also a wide variety of specialist equipment.  The service comprises:

• Weekly turn-round service for most repairs
• Emergency repairs returned within 24-hours wherever possible
• Tray refurbishment
• Laparoscopy instrument repair
• Telescope repair
• Air gun and hose repair
• Diathermy & bipolar repair
• Free marking on all repaired items
• Majority of instruments marked with date of repair
• Technical reports supplied, if required, for specialised instruments e.g Telescopes, Air Tools, Rongeurs, Lap Instruments
• Twelve months guarantee on all repairs/refurbishments.
• Free instrument tags for use in Theatre to immediately identify instruments requiring repair
• Free pre-printed order pads (if required)
• Free collection and delivery by our own van drivers (restricted in some areas)
  

Instruments receive a full evaluation and restoration; this may include sharpening, replacement jaws, replacement screws, re-aligning, re-tensioning and re-finishing to a high standard. The quality all our work conforms to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003, and of course is CE marked.
